You service overhead and underground parts while closely following safety regulations and adhering to quality standards. Collaborating with project managers and tradespeople, you strive to get the job done on time and within budget.Your responsibilities include inspecting systems, diagnosing problems, and documenting the job. You use various tools to splice, terminate, and test cables and equipment as well as service electric substations and other components. Your efforts make a massive impact on clients and our company!REQUIREMENTSJourneyman lineman and high-voltage certification4+ years of experience as a high voltage electrician, including apprenticeshipStrong understanding of electrical principles and safety proceduresAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsAbility to move heavy objects, be in all kinds of weather conditions, and work from heights or confined spacesAbility to work independently and with a teamExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsHigh school degree or equivalentValid driver's licensePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMichigan journeyman licenseExperience working with overhead and underground lines, substations, and related equipmentA LITTLE ABOUT USSawyer Services is a woman- and minority-owned electrical contractor dedicated to serving our commercial, industrial, and government clients.
