Job description

Overview

The Nursing Student works as a Patient Care Aide until Apprentice Certification is obtained. The responsibilities of the Nursing Student include providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards. The Nursing Student must exhibit the ability to work with people form diverse socio-economic backgrounds; to organize, set priorities and manage multiple priorities, and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

Qualifications

Education required: High School diploma/GED. Candidates must be enrolled in a Board approved nursing education program and be selected for the RN apprenticeship program by the college or university.

License, certification and/or registration: BLS required before the conclusion of hte orientation period.
