Position: CTE Student Intern Placement - Appleton East High School - 2026-2027 SY
Description:
This position is temporary, part-time, and non-benefit eligible.
Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week.
Duties may include:
  • Helping to create displays in the classroom or display case
  • Photocopies and laminating
  • Assist in the setup of classroom technology
  • Assist in monitoring student individual work time
  • Assist in preparations for special projects or activities you have in your classroom
  • Working with small groups of students on a particular subject area (small group reading, math)
  • Read a story to a group
  • Escort children to recess, health room, related arts, cafeteria, office, etc.
  • Creating lesson plans or classroom activities
  • Introduce a segment of a classroom lesson
  • Help set up the classroom environment over the summer as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality about students, families, and the classroom. Sign a confidentiality agreement.
