Job description

Do you have a knack for creating wonder and sparking imaginations? Flip everything you know about work upside-down! WonderWorks is looking for dynamic people to join our team. WonderWorks is an indoor amusement park that combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands-on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.
WonderWorks (location) is looking for Ropes Course Attendants to join our team! Our friendly Ropes Course Attendants help guests climb to new heights and conquer their fears on our multi-level ropes course! Ropes Course Attendants harness our guests, relay important safety information, and then get the guests started on their WONDERful adventure upwards!
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome all guests that enter the ropes course area
  • Instruct, lead and supervise guests safely through the ropes course by following standard operating procedures
  • Follow standard operating procedures and ensure that guests meet all height, weight, and clothing requirements
  • Properly fit harnesses adhering to WonderWorks’ training and course manufacturer’s requirements
  • Prolong standing, walking, balancing, stooping and climbing to various areas of the attraction
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, and lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
  • Observational skills and operational risk management skills to ensure safe practices and recognize guest needs
  • Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays, and weather conditions required
  • Previous high ropes course, zipline, or climbing experience and themed entertainment experience is preferred
