Security Site Supervisor – High-Rise Office - 77027

Security Site Supervisor

Location: River Oaks / West Oaks Area – Houston, TX

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Site Supervisor to oversee security operations at a prestigious Class A high-rise office property in the River Oaks / West Oaks area.

This is a high-profile leadership position responsible for managing approximately 208 security hours per week and supervising a team of 5–6 security professionals. The successful candidate will serve as the primary on-site security leader and liaison between security personnel, property management, tenants, vendors, and company leadership.

This location maintains strict security protocols, access control procedures, reporting standards, and customer service expectations. The Site Supervisor must possess strong leadership skills, exceptional professionalism, and the ability to hold officers accountable while maintaining positive client relationships.

This is not a passive supervisory role. The Site Supervisor is expected to be actively engaged in daily operations, staff development, quality assurance, client communication, and continuous improvement of the site's security program.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise and manage all assigned security personnel
  • Ensure strict compliance with site post orders, company policies, and client expectations
  • Review Daily Activity Reports (DARs), incident reports, and officer documentation for accuracy and quality
  • Review and submit daily dispatch logs and operational reports
  • Conduct routine audits of officer performance, appearance, and adherence to post orders
  • Maintain a strong and visible leadership presence throughout the property
  • Conduct coaching, counseling, retraining, and corrective action when necessary
  • Train new security personnel and ensure proper site orientation
  • Identify operational deficiencies and implement corrective action plans
  • Develop and maintain site-specific post orders and standard operating procedures
  • Assist in developing and enhancing the property's overall security program
  • Coordinate with property management regarding security concerns, incidents, and operational needs
  • Attend meetings with property management and company leadership
  • Ensure proper staffing coverage and assist with scheduling when necessary
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies requiring supervisory involvement
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation related to site operations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of security leadership, supervisory, or management experience (REQUIRED)
  • Minimum 3 years of professional security experience (REQUIRED)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Texas Driver's License
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and hold employees accountable
  • Ability to effectively communicate with executives, property managers, tenants, vendors, and security personnel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supervising security operations at Class A office buildings or high-rise properties
  • Experience with access control systems, visitor management systems, and CCTV platforms
  • Experience creating post orders, site procedures, and security programs
  • Experience conducting investigations and incident management
  • Experience with scheduling, staffing, and workforce management
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Smartsheet
  • Knowledge of security best practices, risk mitigation, and physical security operations
