Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer – High Risk OB

Full-Time | Day Shift | Southwestern Arizona

$40 – $61 per hour

A well-established perinatal imaging center in Southwestern Arizona near the California border is seeking an experienced Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer with strong High-Risk OB ultrasound experience.

Located in a sunny desert community along the Colorado River, this opportunity offers more than 300 days of sunshine annually, affordable housing compared to major metro markets, and convenient access to Southern California and Phoenix for weekend travel. This is an excellent role for an experienced sonographer seeking advanced clinical practice in a stable, physician-led environment with exceptional work-life balance.

You will work directly and exclusively with board-certified perinatologists in a high-quality fetal imaging center dedicated to advanced maternal-fetal care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-risk obstetric ultrasounds across all trimesters
  • First trimester dating and early anatomy assessments
  • Detailed second and third trimester anatomy scans
  • Fetal echocardiography, growth monitoring, and Doppler studies
  • Transabdominal and transvaginal imaging
  • Assist physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures (e.g., genetic amniocentesis)
  • Ensure adherence to AIUM standards and modality-specific QA/QC protocols
  • Complete accurate documentation and timely image review submission


Minimum Qualifications

  • High-Risk Maternal-Fetal Medicine ultrasound experience required
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS – OB/GYN)
  • Current ARDMS registry
  • BLS (AHA)
  • Graduate of accredited Sonography program (Associate’s degree or higher)
  • Strong expertise in advanced fetal imaging and Doppler techniques


Preferred

  • 2+ years of MFM or high-risk OB experience
  • Nuchal Translucency (NT) Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree


Schedule

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • 36 hours per week (Day Shift)
