The Gananda CSD is seeking a cleaner to work the evening shift at the Richard Mann Elementary, 40 Hours per week with a 30 minute unpaid lunch (2:30-11:00pm). $17.08 per hour, 95% district contribution to Excellus High Deductible Health Plan, Health Savings Account, Health Reimbursement Account, NYS pension, 12 paid holidays, and paid sick, personal and vacation time. Mandatory fingerprint clearance required per the NYS Education Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The list of responsibilities represents typical tasks/duties and is not intended to be all inclusive or
exclusive of tasks to be performed by the position.
1. Wash windows, doors, furniture and walls as necessary.
2. Shampoo carpet as necessary.
3. Sweep and mop all tile areas, sanitize as directed.
4. Vacuum all carpeted areas (spot clean as necessary).
5. Dust all window ledges and light lenses.
6. Wash and sanitize all toilets and sinks.
7. Empty all waste baskets, remove trash from building and clean containers.
8. Clean and polish counter tops, desks, chairs, couches and other furniture.
9. Re-supply toilet tissue, paper towels, soap, etc.
10. Replace light bulbs.
11. Lock and unlock doors, windows, etc. as directed. Report all miscellaneous damage to the supervisor.
12. Set up and take down of chairs, tables, etc. for approved meetings, school events, etc.
13. Unload delivery trucks.
14. Provides and maintains inventory of cleaning and related paper supplies.
15. Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
