High rise window cleaners are professionals who specialize in cleaning the exterior windows of tall buildings, such as skyscrapers and office towers. They use specialized equipment like suspended scaffolds, ropes, and harnesses to safely access and clean windows at great heights. Their work not only improves the appearance of buildings but also helps maintain the integrity of the glass and frames. High rise window cleaning requires extensive safety training and knowledge of industry regulations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a high rise window cleaner?

  • Completing jobs efficiently without sacrificing quality
  • Maintaining equipment, hoses, tips, and job-site cleanliness
  • Representing Shine professionally with customers and team members

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Ideal Candidate Traits
  • Takes pride in clean, consistent results
  • Works efficiently without cutting corners
  • Thinks ahead and avoids preventable mistakes
  • Communicates clearly with supervisors and teammates
  • Comfortable being accountable for job quality
Not the Right Fit If You
  • Are looking for occasional or side work
  • Need constant supervision to stay productive
  • Cut corners to finish faster
  • Lack experience with professional pressure washing equipment
Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay: $18 - $22 per hour, based on experience
  • Full-time, year-round work (not seasonal)
  • Opportunity for advancement into lead or crew roles
  • Professional equipment provided
  • Stable schedule with a growing company
Location
  • Based in Raleigh, North Carolina
  • Local work-no long-distance travel
Final Note

Apply with a brief summary of your experience.
Compensation: $750.00 - $1,250.00 per week
