Job Title: CNC Haas/Mazak Mill or Lathe Machinist

Job Description

  • This role seeks a skilled CNC Haas/ Mazak Mill or Lathe Machinist for either day or night shift who can set up, operate, and make program edits on CNC Haas milling machines
  • You will work with various machining metals, interpret technical documentation, and apply G and M codes to produce precise, high-quality parts in a clean, climate-controlled shop

Job Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC Haas mill machines to produce precision metal components according to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and technical specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements
  • Apply a strong understanding of G and M codes to program, adjust, and optimize CNC machine operations
  • Make program edits directly at the machine to improve part quality, efficiency, and accuracy as needed
  • Perform tool changes and machine setups, including selecting, installing, and adjusting cutting tools and workholding fixtures
  • Use gauges, calipers, dial indicators, and micrometers to inspect parts and verify that all dimensions meet required tolerances
  • Monitor machine performance during production runs and make adjustments to feeds, speeds, and offsets to maintain quality standards

Essential Skills

  • Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC Haas mill machines.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and technical specifications to determine precision dimensions and tolerances.
  • Solid understanding of G and M codes and how to apply them in CNC programming and machine operation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
