Job Title: Mechanical AssemblerJob Description

This role focuses on assembling mechanical enclosures for a variety of machines, ensuring each unit meets quality, safety, and performance standards. You will use your mechanical assembly expertise and ability to interpret blueprints to build and fit components accurately, working with both mechanical and basic electrical elements.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical enclosures and components for various machines according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to complete assemblies accurately and efficiently.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to fit, fasten, and secure mechanical and basic electrical components.
  • Inspect parts and completed assemblies to verify quality, alignment, and proper function, making adjustments as needed.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies, defects, or issues in parts, tools, or documentation to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures while handling tools and equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members and support staff to meet production schedules and assembly targets.
  • Document work performed as required, including basic production records or checklists.
Essential Skills
  • At least 1 year of recent experience interpreting blueprints for mechanical assemblies.
  • Minimum of 1 year of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficiency with mechanical assembly techniques, including fastening, fitting, and aligning components.
  • Ability to work with basic electrical elements as part of mechanical assemblies.
