Duties:

ยท evaluate, catalog, and respond to bid invitations from existing and potential clients

ยท Analyze bid drawings, specifications, addendums, and project specifc documentsor information to identify scope

ยท Generate electronic on screen take offs

ยท Conduct site visits and participate in pre-bid meetings as needed

ยท Formulate accurate material, labor, processing, administrative, and other relevant costs associated with the project scope

ยท Solicit, negotiate, and evaluate quotes from vendors

ยท Communicate effectively with customers and vendors

ยท Prepare detailed and timely proposals

ยท Actively follow up and obtain feedback on bids

ยท Accurately transfer bid information from awarded projects to detailing and project management personnel

ยท Assist project management in the pricing of change order work

ยท Analylze actual vs estimated costs upon project closeout

ยท Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with customers and vendors

ยท Organize, plan, and prioritize work

ยท Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and research

ยท Prepare and maintain directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors
