High-Rise Commercial Superintendent - Atlanta, GA


We are partnering with a well-established and growing commercial construction company seeking an experienced High-Rise Commercial Superintendent to join its team. This is a key field leadership position for someone with strong ground-up construction experience who enjoys running complex projects, leading teams, and taking ownership of a project from start to finish.


The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing large-scale, multi-story commercial or high-rise construction projects and a strong understanding of the sequencing, logistics, safety, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination required in a high-rise environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of all on-site construction activities
  • Manage projects from site mobilization through completion, punch list, and turnover
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and deliveries
  • Manage construction schedules and ensure project milestones are met
  • Oversee complex high-rise sequencing including structure, building envelope, MEP systems, vertical transportation, and interior build-out
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals to identify and resolve field issues
  • Conduct regular jobsite meetings and communicate project progress with Project Managers and company leadership
  • Maintain strong quality-control standards throughout all phases of construction
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and company safety procedures
  • Manage site logistics, material staging, crane activity, deliveries, and other challenges associated with high-rise construction
  • Build strong working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and other project partners
  • Proactively identify potential schedule or construction issues and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of commercial construction experience with progressive field leadership responsibility
  • Previous Superintendent experience on ground-up high-rise or large multi-story commercial projects strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of structural concrete and/or steel construction, MEP systems, building envelope, interiors, and overall construction sequencing
  • Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong commitment to jobsite safety and quality
  • Ability to work effectively with project teams, owners, architects, and subcontractors
  • Proficiency with construction technology and scheduling/project management software is preferred
