Project Manager

Job Summary: The Project Manager is a member of the technical staff and fills a pivotal role as a design team leader who effectively manages schedule, budget, and technical scope to reduce risk and manage dynamic and changing projects. The ideal candidate would be a detail-oriented professional who also has problem-solving project manager experience on various project types including, but not limited to, Healthcare, Commercial, Life Sciences, Industrial, and Mission-Critical.

Responsibilities:

  • As the point of contact on assigned projects, performs a variety of highly skilled duties such as assembling, coordinating, and managing multidisciplinary technical review teams
    Manage the design and development of MEP/FP/IT/AV/Security construction documents
    • Interface with engineering discipline leads for proper resource allocation
    • Ensure interdisciplinary coordination
    • Direct and oversee project teams for the duration of planning, design, and construction
    • Manage and control project progress throughout the design and construction administration
    • Ensure timely completion of activities and adherence to project milestones
    • Ensure adherence to internal project budgets
    • Ensure company quality assurance standards are upheld
    • Develop scope of work and fees for proposals
    • Liaise with clients and maintain client relationships
    • Maintain culture of unparalleled responsiveness 
    • Assist in contract management, including scope adherence fee control and collection of receivables
    • Facilitates and troubleshoots a myriad of challenges associated with the development of complex systems
    • Respond to inquiries about projects
    • Chair various project review and pre-submittal meetings
    • Attend client meetings

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in mechanical or electrical consulting engineering
    • Familiarity with new construction and renovation projects
    • Ability to write reports and proposals
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • BS in engineering and/or Licensed Professional Engineer
    • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously

Compensation & Benefits:

The expected base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $165,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
