Job description

Job Title: Commercial Property Manager
Work Location: Onsite, Kansas City, MO
Duration: Direct hire
Start Date: ASAP
Role Overview
  • Own day?to?day operations for 5 commercial high?rise office buildings
  • Serve as the primary operational lead across maintenance, engineering, vendors, contractors, and tenant needs
  • Partner closely with ownership and asset management in a hands?on, involved ownership environment
  • Requires commercial real estate property management experience (multifamily acceptable only if paired with commercial exposure)

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise maintenance and engineering teams and manage daily building operations
  • Lead vendor and contractor management, including sourcing, bidding, qualifying, negotiating, and oversight
  • Coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, construction, and remodeling projects
  • Conduct property walks and inspections; ensure strong performance on monthly inspection scoring
  • Act as escalation point for tenant issues, balancing urgency with strong communication and problem?solving
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with ownership regarding building status, issues, and priorities

  • Comfortable being on?call as needed and addressing issues outside standard hours when required

Qualifications
