We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our growing civil and structural design team in Towson, MD. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of mid-rise and high-rise building projects, including commercial, multifamily, industrial, and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will bring strong design expertise in steel, concrete, masonry, and wood-framed structures, as well as a passion for innovation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed structural analysis, design, and detailing for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems.

  • Prepare construction documents, plans, and technical reports that meet code requirements and project standards.

  • Develop proposals, manage design phases, and provide direction on deliverables for assigned projects.

  • Apply advanced engineering principles for reinforced and post-tensioned concrete systems, podium construction, and mid/high-rise structures.

  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure project success.

  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers or design staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).

  • 5–10 years of experience in structural design for commercial or multifamily buildings.

  • EIT or PE license preferred (or actively pursuing).

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit Structure and/or RISA-3D highly desirable.
