Hourly:
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Base hourly pay range: $18.68 - $24.28 per hour

Job Summary:
As a member of the Front of House you will cashier, buss tables, sort guest facing garbage, clean bathrooms and other duties as assigned by management per the weekly schedule. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Assisting Guests with F ood &B everage purchases and operation of point-of-sale systems with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintaining cleanliness and product levels within the food court and all areas of the building

  • Maintaining cleanliness and product levels of the of the water stations and condiment areas
  • Cleaning and maintaining restrooms
  • Executing Palisades Tahoe’s waste management program, which includes recycling, composting, and consumer waste reduction
  • Acting in a fun and friendly manner to guests and co-workers

Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following: other duties may be assigned:
  • Maintain restrooms to the highest degree of cleanliness

  • Wash sinks, pick up trash, clean toilets, and stalls

  • Vacuum carpeted areas throughout the entire facility

  • Accommodate guests’ requests as needed

  • Heavy labor, snow removal, hauling trash, and furniture moving

  • May be required to work at outside venues

  • Provide customers with top-quality customer service in a friendly and positive manner

  • Act as a quick service cashier handling cash and credit cards using a PC point of sale system; accurately ring up items, accept various forms of payment, coupons, discounts, and give correct change . Must balance at the end of shift, responsible for safe and accurate cash handling

  • Maintain a tidy and organized cashier area

  • Stock items in the checkout area

  • Effective communication skills, oral & written

  • Strong sense of customer service & safety awareness

  • Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

  • Have a neat & clean appearance in compliance with the company and location grooming policy. Must adhere to all company and location uniform standards

  • Able to remain patient, calm, and composed in a fast-paced, high-volume-demanding environment

  • Basic computer skills and prior POS experience are strongly preferred

This job requires specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:
Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently be exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee will frequently be exposed to extreme cold, wetness, and/or humidity, and occasionally blizzards and extreme storm conditions.
Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate.
Equipment Used in Job: Floor scrubbing machines, shovels, small hand tools.
