Advanced Professional Security (APS) is seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-service-focused Licensed Security Officer for a luxury retail location, in Scottsdale. This is a position in a high-end and is client-facing. Professional appearance, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail are required for this role. APS has 18 years of experience in providing premier security services to ensure the safety, security, and peace of mind that our clients and customers come to expect and know.
High-End Retail Unarmed Security Guard
Our ideal candidate is observant, composed under pressure, professional in appearance and behavior, has unwavering integrity, and self-discipline while possessing strong written and verbal communication skills. Our clients and their guests expect nothing less than the best from APS and we are looking to deliver them to ensure the safety of residents, their guests, and visitors.
Essential Functions and Responsibility
  • Maintain a visible and professional security presence
  • Monitor the store and surrounding areas for suspicious activity
  • Assist in deterring theft, disturbances, and unauthorized activity
  • Remain attentive and aware of surroundings throughout the shift
  • Provide professional and courteous interaction with clients, employees, and guests
  • Respond appropriately to incidents and follow established security procedures
  • Complete incident reports when necessary
  • Other related duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to perform all functions of the job with, or without, reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to carry out instructions furnished in English written or oral form as well as speak and comprehend English without translation.
  • Must be neat, well-groomed and present a professional appearance.
  • Able to meet any special qualifications set forth in post orders or other relevant protocols and directives.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona Security Guard License - AZDPS Security Guard Form Triage
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk up to 8-hours, lift objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
  • Reliably commute to client sites located within 30-minutes of your home address.

This role pays $20.00/ hourly and employees are paid weekly.
