Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week), Hourly, Non-Exempt

Availability: Weekends and evenings required

INTRODUCTION:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Laundress/Housekeeper to join our team, someone who brings a positive service mindset and a willingness to learn and grow. This position will be responsible for all laundry related tasks in the house, with a strong emphasis on the care of couture clothing, materials, and collections, and will also be involved in some housekeeping tasks. This position requires extensive laundry experience and is ideal for someone with a humble approach who appreciates feedback and understands the importance of following guidelines and procedures. DUTIES:

Laundress (mandatory):

● Expert care of high-end and couture clothing, linens, and other delicate fabrics.

● Washing, drying, and ironing with meticulous attention to detail.

● Organizing and managing a detailed laundry schedule.

● Detailed closet organization

● Maintain detailed tracking of all dry-cleaned items

● Maintaining the pristine condition of laundry equipment.

● Folding and properly storing all laundered items.

● Handling couture and delicate fabrics with exceptional care, ensuring they are preserved in their best condition.

Housekeeping (mandatory):

● Keep the house clean and organized. Follow the cleaning schedule and respect any special rules for different areas. Do a thorough cleaning of the entire house regularly as per the schedule.

● Regularly check and restock household items like cleaning supplies. Keep storage areas tidy and let the manager know if supplies are running low.

● Quickly report any problems, things that can be improved, or if something is broken or damaged.

● Be ready to help with different kinds of tasks as asked by your principal or the manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

● Extensive experience as a Laundress/Housekeeper in private households or similar hotel roles.

● Proven expertise in caring for couture and high-end clothing.
