Job Description Summary

This role is responsible for planning production and inventory to make sure customer demand is met and materials are available when needed. Youโ€™ll work closely with Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Sales to manage forecasts, capacity, shortages, and supply chain priorities. The role also supports monthly S&OP meetings, planning systems and process improvements, and serves as a key backup to the Supply Chain Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Develop production and demand plans to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Manage inventory, raw materials, capacity, and supply across multiple production sites.
  • Monitor forecasts, shortages, and daily supply chain needs; communicate issues and priorities.
  • Partner with Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Sales to maintain a smooth supply chain.
  • Lead and support planning processes, tools, and systems, including SAP and IBP.
  • Prepare and present monthly Supply & Operations Planning (S&OP) and mid-term planning reports.
  • Manage product allocations by balancing demand, production capacity, material availability, and business priorities.
  • Support supply chain improvement projects, reporting, product transfers, and new product introductions.
Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field plus 5 years of Supply Chain experience OR High school diploma/GED plus 10 years of Supply Chain experience.
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Experience working with SAP and supply chain planning systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with demand, supply, production, inventory, or capacity planning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and make informed decisions based on demand, capacity, and material availability.

Summary Compensation & Benefits

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. (Specific rate to be determined, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).

Pay Range: $83,900 - $151,800

Preferred location is Milton, WI or Janesville, WI; however, candidates based at or near any Evonik location within the United States will be considered.
