Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Senior Manager, Customer Supply Chain based in Londonderry, NH.
The Senior Manager, Customer Supply Chain will be the primary supply chain liaison between yogurt customers. This role will be responsible for enabling service excellence and managing and strengthening broad seniorlevel supply chain relationships with an assigned set of customers. The Senior Manager, Customer Supply Chain will also partner with Lactalis commercial and supply chain teams to enhance approach and offerings, providing input from a customer lens to inform new customer-supply chain-related policies, efficiency programs, and capabilities. Ultimately, this role will help shape the approach and define the roadmap for how we engage strategically with yogurt customers on supply chain topics, as well as influence the internal supply chain consolidation roadmap with consideration of customer implications. Responsibilities will also include defining the metrics used to measure the value that customer supply chain programs deliver to the yogurt team and customers. The initial objective will be to ensure service excellence and to implement scorecards and tracking mechanisms to meet the goals of integration, efficiency programs, and policies. The Senior Manager, Customer Supply Chain will report to the Director, Customer Service.
From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
Lead Operational Team:
  • Lead and coach team ensuring order to delivery excellence with customers
  • Enable policy compliance.
  • Identify and influence customers on operational efficiency, i.e. Ti-Hi (tier/height) and Order Patterns.
  • Lead process changes on service, communication, and capability improvements.

World-Class Customer Supply Chain Partner:
  • Build partnerships with customer's senior supply chain management.
  • Engage in Joint Business Plan (JBP), lead routine Supply Chain Partnership customer meetings, publications and annual planning.
  • Build and publish customer scorecards.
  • Identify areas of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) improvement, lead influence conversations with customers to reduce costs, execute programs, i.e. On Time in Full (OTIF), Customer Pick-up (CPU) and Fines & Fees,

Lead & Influence Policy, Programs, Capabilities:
  • Act as an Internal Supply Chain customer liaison, providing operational and strategic influence to optimize service, supply chain current, and future capabilities.
  • Own Network Consolidation as primary voice-of-customer lead, including internal analysis, design, build, test, and launch.
  • Lead strategic voice-of-customer driving definition, refinement, and launch of efficiency programs and opportunities.
  • Influence enhanced definition and execution of policy governance.
  • Represent and guide customer focus on Lactalis priorities: i.e. Waste, Transportation/CPU, Warehouse efficiency.
  • Identify cost to serve root causes and develop action plans for overall cost optimization.
  • Support and lead where defined enhanced internal customer value tracking, reporting and communication.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • The incumbent is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Customer Supply Chain team in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration required, Supply Chain Management or relevant field is preferred.

Experience
  • 5+ years of Supply Chain experience is a plus. With at least 2 years in customer service or sales supporting a major customer.
  • Consumer Package Goods experience, Food Industry experience preferred.
  • Experience across multiple disciplines, preferably in logistics and/or sales.
  • Experience leading cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives.
