Job description

Hi-Lo Driver

Under the direction of the Director of operations/packaging Supervisor or lead, the Hi-Lo Driver is responsible for safely operating electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift or elevating platform, to push, lift, stack, or move products or materials by performing the following duties. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect.

3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm - 7:30am

Responsibilities
  • Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area
  • Unloads and stacks material by using lifting device
  • Inventories materials on work floor and in warehouse
  • Loads or unloads materials onto/off pallets or lifting device
  • Must be able to document information as per SOP
  • Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
  • Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelines
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training
  • 1-2 years of hi-lo driving experience
  • Must be able to read/write English
  • Ability to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timely
  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
Role's Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish)
  • Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including the ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist, pull, push, and reach for up to 8 hours
