Lead CNA/HHA - Hamilton House

Hamilton House Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community is looking for a Lead HHA/CNA to join our growing team. Hamilton House Senior Living recently opened in 2019 and is easily accessible on Wauwatosa Road (HWY 181), in Cedarburg, WI. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 111-unit, apartment style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care services. With our putting green and bocce ball court, Hamilton House encourages you to work hard and play hard as well! Shifts Available: Full Time AM, including rotating weekends/holidays. Lead CNA Wage: $19.00-$24.00 an hour wage is based on experience. Lead HHA Wage: $18.50-$23.50 an hour wage is based on experience.

In this position, you will be providing support to our residents with their personal care services including:

  • CNA's and HHA's provide direct care to all genders of residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence, and treat each resident with respect and dignity.
  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, mobility, and other personal care needs as described on the plan of care.
  • Provide support to our employees by mentoring and training our new employees, coordinating and communicating employee break times and assisting with staffing and scheduling.
  • Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
  • Assist with medication administration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an assisted living community is preferred.
  • Must have at least 6 (six) months of experience working as a HHA or CNA.
  • Interest in training and mentoring new employees.
  • Strong interest in healthcare.
  • Positive, compassionate attitude.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
