Role Business Analyst with Finance
Location Chicago, IL

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Analyst to support the ongoing development, enhancement, and maintenance of a custom-built wire request application. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, operations teams, program manager, and the software development team to ensure the application effectively supports wire transfer initiation, approval workflows, processing, reporting, and audit requirements.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the delivery of technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise applications.
Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
