Location: Various Client Sites
Status: Full-Time / Non-Exempt

Job Summary

Code 4 Private Security is seeking a professional Field Inspector to join our Operations team for the graveyard shift. The Field Inspector ensures quality assurance, compliance, and professionalism at all assigned client sites. This role requires a motivated leader with excellent written and verbal communication skills who can conduct unannounced field inspections, evaluate on-duty personnel, provide coaching/training, and step in to cover posts when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and wear full Code 4 Private Security uniform at all times.

  • Conduct unannounced field inspections of assigned posts.

  • Evaluate officer demeanor, alertness, and uniform compliance prior to making contact.

  • Interact with guards professionally, review post orders, and ensure understanding of duties.

  • Document inspections with full-body photos, patrol observations, and tour scan checks.

  • Review and provide feedback on Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and time records.

  • Conduct walkthroughs of sites, observing officer responsibilities and client interactions.

  • Provide on-the-spot training, coaching, or counseling when required.

  • Collect feedback from clients and staff on guard performance.

  • Submit detailed Field Inspection Reports to Operations and HR after each visit.

  • Support the team by covering posts when needed due to call-outs, emergencies, or staff shortages

  • Look for coverage if you receive a last-minute call out while on shift.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid Guard Card, appropriate use of force, and Power to Arrest certificate (required).

  • Clean driving record and valid driverโ€™s license (required).

  • Previous security supervisory/lead experience preferred.

  • Strong understanding of security protocols, inspections, and client service expectations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Professional, calm, and adaptable under pressure.

  • Comfortable using mobile reporting systems and submitting detailed reports.

  • Reliable transportation with flexibility to travel between sites.

Physical Requirements
