A heritage museum is an institution dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and showcasing artifacts, documents, and stories that reflect the history and culture of a specific community, region, or nation. These museums play a crucial role in educating the public about historical events, traditions, and ways of life, often featuring interactive exhibits and special programs. By safeguarding cultural heritage, heritage museums help foster a sense of identity and continuity within communities.
