The Opportunity

  • Up to $50k sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
  • Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
  • ACLS and BLS required for non-Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
  • Current IN state license is a plus.
  • Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.

The Practice

Henry Community Health – New Castle, Indiana

  • 65-bed hospital with an annual volume of 21,500.
  • 13 primary beds in the Emergency Department plus 3 fast track beds.
  • 13% admit rate; 7% peds.
  • Cerner EMR.
  • Sub-specialty backup includes surgery, OB/GYN, peds, cardiology, ortho, and urology.
  • Good patient mix, collegial staff, good relationships with ancillary staff, and responsive local administration.

Estimated annual base compensation of $275,000 – $900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Compensation for part-time and per diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked. In addition, Vituity physicians participate in our partnership model from day one, which includes profit distributions, equity ownership, and K-1 tax advantages. Total compensation including partnership income varies by site and may significantly exceed the range shown.
