• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that leverage a variety of therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities for pain relief and mobility enhancement.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to meet established therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, lifestyle modifications, and proper use of assistive devices to promote independence and recovery.
• Foster a strong therapeutic alliance with patients, ensuring that they are engaged and informed throughout their treatment journey.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient care improvements and contributions to overall healthcare strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge by participating in workshops, seminars, and professional organizations.

The patients at Hemisphere Orthopedic Center are primarily individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our therapists are trained to administer treatment that addresses a wide range of orthopedic issues, making it critical that you are adept at customizing care for varying age groups and functional capabilities. • Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid California State License in Physical Therapy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills necessary for documentation and communication.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility in treatment approaches based on patient needs.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred but not mandatory.
• Exposure to outpatient physical therapy operations and familiarity with individualized treatment planning.
• Experience in mentoring or training new graduates is a plus.
