Bridgeway Mental Healthcare Pte. Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Geriatric Mental Health Counselor to join our remote telehealth team. This role is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while maintaining a strong commitment to patient care. Our telehealth platform utilizes state-of-the-art technology to ensure seamless communication between counselors, psychiatrists, and patients. You will engage with clients through secure video conferencing tools, equipped with all the necessary resources to provide effective treatment from the comfort of your home.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly patients, evaluating their psychological, social, and physical wellbeing to identify specific needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, considering cognitive changes, health issues, and environmental factors.
• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy interventions, including individual counseling and family therapy, to help clients manage conditions such as depression, anxiety, and dementia-related disorders.
• Collaborate with geriatric psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that patients receive integrated care that addresses both their mental and physical health needs.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support when managing mental health emergencies involving elderly patients, prioritizing their safety and wellbeing.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to promote informed decision-making.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation processes.
• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and training opportunities to enhance your professional skills and contribute to the knowledge base of the organization.
• Stay up-to-date with current research and advancements in geriatric psychiatry to ensure that your practice reflects the best evidence-based approaches.

This position focuses primarily on the geriatric population, addressing a range of psychiatric conditions that are particularly impactful in later life. The clients you will serve include elderly individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, dementia, and adjustment disorders, all of which require a sensitive and patient-centered approach. By using tailored interventions, you will contribute to the emotional and psychological well-being of these clients, helping them navigate the complexities of aging.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.
• A minimum of two years of relevant post-licensure experience working with geriatric patients is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of geriatric mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey empathy and understanding in a patient-centered manner.
• Competency in using electronic health records and other relevant technology applications securely and effectively.
• Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

• Experience in delivering cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or related modalities specifically tailored to older adults.
• Familiarity with telehealth best practices and the ability to facilitate remote sessions effectively.
• Previous work or internships in geriatric settings or mental health environments focusing on elderly clients.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
