Working in the laboratory of Professor Karamchandani, the incumbent may perform some or all of the listed general administration functions. These functions are of moderate complexity and the incumbent performs them using established instructions.

Typical Functions:

  • Databasing informatics and data entry

  • Cellular and molecular laboratory tasks (sample processing, DNA extractions, etc.)

  • Clinical chart review - ie: asked to enter select pieces of data from a chart into the database (e.g.: features from a muscle biopsy into the LORIS instrument)

  • Answering technical queries from patients related to the virtual consent platform (eg: text settings, audio)

  • Answering questions about participating in C-BIG

  • Helping patients find the phlebotomy suite

  • Working with clinical teams to identify enthusiastic patient partners

Minimum Education, Certification and Experience:

High School Diploma with one year of relevant experience in the field of work
