Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Bonding Mill Helper assists a Bonding Mill Operator in meeting the department's goals by performing machine set-up, maintaining quality standards, meeting daily production targets, and troubleshooting equipment when required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coil handling which involves removing coils from skids, loading coals to the payoff, and measuring gauge and width of the material with measuring devices.

  • Assist with the set-up of a designated Bonding Millfollowing process sheets, setting machine parameters, and using lubrication.

  • Assist with machine adjustments and set-ups to reduce thicknesses, reshape products, and eliminate product defects.

  • Assist with the examining, inspecting, and measuring of raw materials and finished products to verify conformance to specifications.

  • Assist with controls and observe dial indicators in order to monitor, adjust and regulate speeds of machine mechanisms.

Requirements

  • High School or GED Required

  • At least 1 year of previous manufacturing experience required

  • Experience in a metals industrial setting preferred

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports, manuals, technical procedures

22.10 - 31.75 USD Hourly
