Position: Shop Helper
Employment Status: Full-Time

Compensation: $19 per hour

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide safe and efficient shuttle service for clients to and from the dealership
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the service department and lot.
  • Washing and vacuuming vehicles after service repair.
  • Greeting customers with a professional manner.
  • Directing customers to the right personnel for further assistance.
  • Ensuring department is free from clutter and is kept tidy and clean at all times.
  • Assist Technician upon request in basic mechanical tasks up to and including using a tire machine.
  • Follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
  • This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Highly self-motivated individual, ability to work effectively under stress and deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Have an attention to detail and high quality control standards.
  • Be able to work effectively against deadlines.
  • Able to work in a productive, fast-paced environment
  • Able to work effectively with Service Advisors, Parts Advisors, and Technicians
  • Possess a valid British Columbia Driver’s License, ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission, and present a current copy of your driver’s abstract (ICBC driver’s record) for review.
