We are hiring General Production Workers (Packers) in Markham, Ontario!

Job Description

This role is based in the packaging department, where you will help package granola bars with a strong focus on quality and accuracy. You may work in quality inspection, packaging, or labeling on the production floor, performing repetitive tasks while standing for the entire shift. The position involves working in two adjacent buildings and may require moving outside between them during the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Package granola bars in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
  • Work in designated areas such as quality inspection, packaging, or labeling on the production floor.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure products are accurately packaged and labeled.
  • Perform repetitive production tasks while standing for the full duration of the shift.
  • Handle products and materials safely, including lifting items up to 30 lbs as needed.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and facility rules to maintain a safe and clean production environment.
  • Move between two adjacent buildings as required, including going outside mid-shift when needed.
  • Read and follow written instructions, labels, and production documentation in English.
  • Contribute to a consistent production flow by meeting productivity and quality targets.
  • Support general labor tasks in the manufacturing environment as directed by supervisors.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs safely and repeatedly during the shift.
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift while performing repetitive tasks.
  • English reading and writing skills to understand labels, instructions, and production documentation.
