Job description

Milwaukee Electronics is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Material Handler who is comfortable using computer systems, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in accuracy.
In this role, you'll support receiving and material flow by verifying incoming shipments, processing inventory transactions, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring materials are properly labeled and routed to the correct location. You may also assist with stockroom, inventory, and production-support activities as needed. Adaptability, accuracy, and follow-through are essential to keeping materials moving efficiently throughout the facility.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
What you'll be doing:
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, condition, and required documentation.
  • Match materials to purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery records.
  • Report shortages, damages, incorrect parts, or other discrepancies.
  • Process receiving transactions and update inventory records in the ERP system.
  • Label and route materials to inspection, stockroom, production, or storage areas.
  • Maintain packing slips, receiving records, and discrepancy documentation.
  • Move, store, issue, and stage materials as needed.
  • Support kitting, cycle counts, stockroom activities, and inventory accuracy.
  • Use barcode scanners, Microsoft Office, and company inventory systems.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other approved equipment.
  • Follow quality, safety, and material-control procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and communicate issues promptly.
  • Support process improvements and other material-handling duties as assigned.

What you bring:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Comfort learning inventory, receiving, and ERP systems.
  • Ability to read purchase orders, packing slips, labels, and work instructions.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to identify damaged or incorrect materials.
  • Clear communication, reliability, and a willingness to adapt as priorities change.
  • Experience in receiving, warehousing, stockroom, or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Ability to safely use material-handling equipment after required training.

A few things to know:
This is an active, hands-on role. You'll be on your feet, lifting up to 10 lbs, and moving between the stockroom and production floor. The work environment includes normal manufacturing noise, occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and a stockroom that may run warmer or cooler depending on the season.
Standard PPE and safety protocols are provided and required.
