Job description

At ECS Composites, we manufacture rugged products used in military, aerospace, commercial, and industrial applications around the world. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at our Medford location, you'll help ensure materials and finished products are received, organized, documented, and shipped accurately and on time.
Are you organized, dependable, and comfortable balancing hands-on work with paperwork and computer tasks? This could be the job for you.
Our Medford team works Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, giving you three-day weekends, plus occasional Friday overtime during our busy season for those looking to earn even more.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Receive incoming materials, supplies, and products
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Inspect deliveries for shortages, damage, or other discrepancies
  • Accurately enter receiving and shipping information into company systems
  • Label, organize, and store materials in the correct locations
  • Prepare finished products and materials for shipment
  • Package, wrap, and secure products to prevent damage during transportation
  • Create and verify shipping documents, packing slips, and labels
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers
  • Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment
  • Operate a forklift or pallet jack after proper training and certification
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records
  • Communicate shipment issues or discrepancies to the appropriate departments
  • Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and safe
  • Work with production, purchasing, and other departments to meet shipping deadlines
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
  • Help identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency

Physical Requirements
This position requires:

  • Using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
  • Working around manufacturing and warehouse equipment
  • Working in indoor and outdoor conditions as needed
