Job description

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating production filling lines according to established procedures and guidelines. You will ensure that all product specifications and quality standards are met while maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with GMP using Product History Records (PHRs).

All shifts available

Pay: $20-24/hour (depending on shift)

Responsibilities

  • Reference the work order to set up the production line appropriately.
  • Lead the process for setting up and operating production filling lines.
  • Facilitate and lead any adjustments needed to settings and make repairs to meet product specifications and quality standards.
  • Document activities accurately using Product History Records (PHRs).
  • Ensure bottles placed on the line have been checked for quality.
  • Monitor product filling and packaging equipment for effective operation.
  • Make necessary adjustments to ensure correct fill is established.
  • Communicate any product that does not meet quality standards to manufacturing leaders.
  • Ensure correct raw materials are used during the production run.
  • Complete and report all documentation and production logs.
  • Troubleshoot issues on filling equipment to maintain efficient production line operation.
  • Meet and exceed production requirements based on capacity for each filling line.
  • Establish and maintain an appropriate work pace to meet all production goals.
  • Assist with the training of other manufacturing personnel.
  • Ensure all proper quality procedures are followed.
  • Follow all safety guidelines according to company and OSHA standards.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
  • Operate forklift and pallet lift as needed.

This is a Contract position based out of Gurnee, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
