SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for assisting in smooth operation of line and machines - loading and feeding of material.
  • Assist in monthly maintenance/upkeep of machine.
  • Review machine specifications and material requirements.
  • Report any problems with machine in timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to 5s principles.
  • Maintain a helpful and friendly working relationship with fellow employees.
  • Comply with all applicable customer, safety, ISO/IATF 16949 QMS, and ISO14001 EMS requirements.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
  • Professional skill and knowledge of manufacturing process of our product.
  • Ability to professionally and efficiently communicate with co-workers and leadership, both verbally and written.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact in a personable, professional and courteous manner to all.
  • Ability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Maintenance of Mytex information in a confidential manner.

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to maintain concentration with frequent interruptions.
  • Professional, well-groomed appearance and attire is advised.
  • Ability to wear protective safety equipment for a 12- hour shift; including hard hat, gloves, long sleeves, safety glasses, protective footwear, and ear plugs.
  • Ability to stand/ walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to operate a forklift up to 50% of shift.
  • Ability to team lift (2 person lift) 60lbs several times during shift.
  • Ability to single lift 30-40lbs up repeated several times during shift.
  • Ability to lift, twist, push, pull.

EDUCATION, Experience and TRAINING
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED. (active pursuit of GED considered)
  • Experience: 1 year related experience or training.
  • Experience with a fork lift.
  • Ability to apply concept of basic math skills.
  • Plastic compounding experience is preferred.

The salary range for this position is $20.50 -$21.00 per hour. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
