Job Description
Shift: Afternoon: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Shift Premium Amount: $2.00
Pay Rate: $22.55
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operate equipment to produce finished goods to production specifications.
• Understand and be able to safely STOP equipment during normal conditions and during an emergency.
• Set Machine up to SOC using the appropriate conditions.
• Use a computer system to set run conditions and adjust as necessary within SOC.
• Perform Line start up and Line shut down.
• Understand and safely operate equipment.
• Follow all training documents or standard operating procedures (SOP) to operate the line safely and efficiently.
• Ability to use production reporting systems to fulfill job functions.
• Always safely operate lab equipment.
• Understand all quality lab equipment and be able to operate and adjust as necessary to safely test film samples.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• 3 to 5 years' experience in a manufacturing industry as the main operator of one or multiple processes
• Strong mechanical aptitude is desired.
• Ability to make sound decisions and follow guidelines.
• Must have good communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• High awareness toward safety.
• Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking.
• Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• College-level courses or trade school preferred, but not necessary.
• Ability to operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment.
Physical Requirements:
• Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
• Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 40lbs.
• Hand and eye coordination.
• Use stairs and hand tools as required by job.
