Job Description

Machine Operator

Alsip, IL

Compensation Includes

  • Starting Pay Rate of $19.21/hour

Available Shift

  • Days: 7am - 7pm
  • Nights: 7pm - 7am

Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow all safety procedures
  • Setup and operate bag machine and support equipment to convert paper into bags
  • Read and verify order sheets
  • Understand print job requirements and quality issues
  • Stacking and labeling finished good accordingly
  • Changing, threading and stripping  rolls of paper throughout shift
  • Complete daily production paperwork
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area
  • Responsibility for food safety and GMP's
  • Perform job tasks as assigned by manager or supervisor that pertain to productivity and success within production
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
  • Ability to work 12 hour days
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management
  • Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
  • Ability to lift up to 50-70lbs
  • Bendng , twisting, stooping etc. throughout a 12 hr shift
