Machine Operator – Fabrication Shop

Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our fabrication shop team. The ideal candidate will safely and efficiently operate fabrication equipment while producing quality work and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate saws, brake presses, plasma tables, grinders, and other fabrication equipment.
  • Set up and operate machines according to job requirements and specifications.
  • Accurately cut, bend, and process metal materials.
  • Inspect finished work to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding production needs or equipment issues.
  • Perform other fabrication and shop duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

  • Stand for extended periods of time.
  • Bend, kneel, stoop, twist, and reach as needed.
  • Repeatedly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Safely perform physical tasks in a fabrication shop environment.
