Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate packaging lines safely and efficiently

  • Perform routine checks at shift start and throughout the day to ensure machines are running properly

  • Monitor packaging quality (weights, seals, codes, pricing)

  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and support maintenance as needed

  • Keep accurate records of production, film usage, and quality checks

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

  • Communicate with the next shift and support teamwork across lines

  • Train new operators as needed

Requirements:

  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills

  • Knowledge of packaging machine equipment (preferred, but training available) or background in food production
  • Ability to read and understand English instructions and communicate effectively with operators and maintenance personnel

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Willingness to obtain a forklift license (training provided)

  • Basic computer skills for simple data entry

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
