Job Title: Packaging Machine Operator (2nd or 3rd Shift)
Location: Milford, CT
Pay: $26.20/hour
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Packaging Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate and monitor automated packaging equipment, ensure product quality, and support efficient, safe production processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate automated packaging machinery in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
  • Maintain continuous production by supplying machines with materials and components
  • Perform product changeovers and verify accuracy of bills of materials
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate mechanical problems to maintenance as needed
  • Conduct routine quality checks and accurately complete production and shift documentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through daily housekeeping tasks
  • Track and record production data, inventory usage, and operational performance
  • Collaborate with team members, maintenance, and leadership to meet production goals
  • Support additional packaging and production tasks as assigned
  • Work overtime or weekends as needed and remain flexible with shift assignments

Requirements
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Ability to understand and follow detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Willingness to train and qualify on multiple packaging machines and equipment
  • Consistent record of safety, attendance, and job performance
