Rite of Passage Team is Hiring for a KITCHEN HELPER at Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, Arizona
About Canyon State Academy
Canyon State Academy is located on a scenic 180-acre campus surrounded by Farm student housing for 300 + youth, a Thrift Store, Café, Barbershop and Church open to the community incorporating life skills for our students. Along with a fully equipped weight room, football stadium, an athletic center (gymnasium, padded wrestling room & more).
Our campus includes:
  • Housing for more than 300 youth
  • Community Thrift Store
  • Café
  • Barbershop
  • Church open to the community
  • Fully equipped weight room
  • Football stadium
  • Athletic center, including a gymnasium and padded wrestling room

Schedule
  • Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday
  • Work schedule is based on program needs
  • Includes one work-from-home day each week

Compensation
$18.00 per hour

Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • If required to operate a company vehicle during the course of employment, must meet the requirements to
    be an eligible ROP driver. Must possess a current State Driver's License and have an acceptable driving
    record for the past three (3) years.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
