What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Helper in Functional Medicine, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Helper in Functional Medicine, you need a basic understanding of nutrition, holistic health principles, and strong organizational skills, often backed by relevant coursework or certifications in health or wellness. Familiarity with patient management systems, supplement protocols, and digital communication tools is commonly required. Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and attention to detail help build trust with patients and support practitioners effectively. These skills ensure smooth clinic operations, enhance patient experience, and contribute to the overall success of a functional medicine practice.
