Job description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Clean-Up / Cabinet Shop Helper position in Portland, OR. Our client is a commercial cabinet shop looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to assist with shop clean-up and basic cabinet-making duties. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to gain experience in a cabinet shop and manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Sweep, vacuum, and dust shop and production areas to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

· Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility.

· Clean lunchrooms, restrooms, office spaces, and other common areas.

· Pick up and organize off-fall and scrap materials around shop equipment.

· Assist with moving materials and products to and from pallets, dollies, and carts.

· Support cabinet shop employees with basic helper duties as needed.

· Maintain organized work areas and help ensure walkways and production areas remain free of debris.

· Follow all company safety procedures while working around shop equipment and materials.

· Assist with additional general labor and clean-up duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a cabinet shop, woodworking, manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor environment is a plus but not required.

· Ability to perform physical work, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.

· Comfortable working around manufacturing and woodworking equipment.

· Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to help wherever needed.

· Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

· Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and workplace safety.
