Job Description Job Description As a Senior Drafter/Designer, you will translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings and plans, utilizing Autodesk Inventor software with Vault Library. This role demands a high level of proficiency in Inventor and CAD, a strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities Develop and produce detailed technical drawings and plans, including architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings based on design specifications and project requirements.

Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand design concepts, address design challenges, and ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Review and modify existing drawings, revising and updating them based on feedback to ensure all changes are accurately reflected in the final documents. Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations, adhering to industry standards and relevant regulations in all drafting work.

Mentor and guide junior drafters, providing technical guidance and support while sharing knowledge and best practices. Maintain organized project documentation, ensuring all drawings, files, and revisions are accurately stored and readily accessible. Stay updated on industry trends and software advancements to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Essential Skills Minimum of 5 years of experience as a drafter, detailer, and 3D modeler. Proficiency in CAD software, including Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and familiarity with Revit is a plus. Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating precise and error-free drawings. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications Extensive knowledge of Autodesk Inventor CAD Software. Technical drawing and blueprint reading. 3D modeling and visualization.

Knowledge of building codes and industry standards. Collaboration and teamwork. Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Time management and organization. Continuous improvement mindset. Experience designing products for the fixture and modular wall industry is a plus.

Work Environment Office environment with normal daytime hours. Flexible onsite/WFH hybrid schedules may be considered if needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
