Senior Helpers of Costa Mesa is looking for experienced caregivers with HCA credentials, a valid drivers license and car to service clients in the following areas: Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Fountain Valley, Irvine, Santa Ana and Orange.

  • Caregiver Qualifications:
  • · Experience with transferring clients between various locations (wheelchair, bed, etc.) utilizing proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
  • · Experience with using a Hoyer lift and gate belt assistance.
  • · Experience with assisting clients with personal hygiene tasks, including sponge baths, bathing, toileting, grooming, etc.
  • · Experience with assisting clients with incontinence care and bedridden care.
  • · Willing to attend training regarding Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Training in all the mentioned categories is preferred.
  • What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.
  • · Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships.
  • · Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (walks, gardening, games, etc.)
  • · Prep meals for your clients to enjoy.
  • · Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living.
