One Clinic – no traveling
Rate $15.50 - $17.00 /hr. based on experienceResponsibilitiesRole and Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients
  • Assist with Check-in/Check-out processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Verify insurance to confirm eligibility and coverage prior to appointments.
  • Request and obtain authorizations for HMO insurances 
  • Verify PDT and patch testing benefits 
  • Call to obtain pre-authorization for surgeries and procedures
  • Understand and explain to patient what their financial responsibilities 
  • Communication between physicians, medical assistants and staff regarding insurance matters, authorizations, etc.
  • Communicate with our billing department regarding patient accounts and insurance matters
  • Check voicemail box and return patient calls, create message in EMR and assign to appropriate staff when needed in a timely manner
  • Schedule, reschedule or cancel patient appointments for providers accordingly if needed
  • Update patient demographic data entry into the EMR system
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls, addressing patient inquiries and routing calls appropriately
  • Ensure 100% collection on cosmetic services, adding cosmetic packages to Billing Alert.
  • Confirm that all online credit card payments post in EClinicalWorks to reconcile with Transafe
  • End of day reconciliation reports scanning all required documents and submit to APM or Practice Administrator by end of day.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned
Required SkillsQualifications and Education RequirementsHigh school or equivalent
Medical front office experience (2 years preferred)
Knowledge of CPT codes and medical terminology (preferred)
