Position Summary

The Alternative Funds Administration Team is seeking a detailed oriented Senior Fund Operations Analyst with 2-5 years' working experience supporting hedge funds and private equity operations, to fill a role in our Baltimore office. Strong understanding of fund structures, NAV calculations and reconciliation processes are key requirements.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Review daily and monthly NAV calculations performed by fund administrator for hedge funds, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Assist with investor allocations, subscriptions, and redemptions.
  • Cayman, Bermuda or any offshore funds jurisdictional experience.
  • Experience with multi series fund of funds with complex redemption scheduling and cash management.
  • Collaborate with Client Service Teams and Portfolio Managers to manage investor interests as part of the subscriptions process.
  • Manage communications with service providers, including fund administrators, custodians, and auditors.
  • Collaborate closely with the investment team on the ongoing management of investments and the launch of new strategies.
  • Support internal groups involved in hedge funds, Private Equity investments, such as legal, tax, accounting, reporting, and compliance.
  • Implement process and procedure improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-5 years' working experience preferred
  • Hedge Fund Operations experience
  • SmartSheet experience a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Superior analytical, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Strong background in math and computer use, ability to do manual calculations
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential material with utmost discretion
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently on several assignments simultaneously
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to work in the Baltimore office location

CERTIFICATIONS (Optional)

CPA Level

DC Salary Range: $88 - $115k.Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if applicable).

MD Salary Range: $80 - $105k. Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if applicable).

NY Salary Range: $96k - $126k. Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if applicable).
