About the Role

We are expanding our current team of Legal AI Engineers and seeking dynamic and consultative legal technologists to join our Legal Technology Innovation team.

The AI Solutions Analyst provides day-to-day operational support for the firm's growing portfolio of AI-enabled products. The AI Solutions Analyst translates business needs into practical workflows and copilots, builds and tests solutions, and drives adoption. Their work will focus on hands-on development within existing firm platforms and data sources to deliver measurable impact. This role is attorney facing and requires strong consultative skills and a basic knowledge of legal workflows.

This role is pivotal in designing and implementing AI-powered workflows that enhance attorney productivity and client service delivery. You will work closely with legal teams to translate business needs into intelligent solutions using cutting-edge Gen AI platforms and play a key role in advancing our firm's AI initiatives.

This role supports adoption and enablement efforts through frontline user support, documentation, testing, and issue tracking. The position plays a key role in capturing feedback, maintaining user-facing resources, and helping ensure a consistent and effective user experience across AI tools. The role involves regular collaboration with colleagues in Knowledge and Innovation, IT, and other departments, as well as third-party AI vendors to support solution deployment and ongoing enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with attorneys and practice groups to identify and prioritize AI-driven workflow automation opportunities; translate objectives into solutions and AI agents.

  • Design, prototype, and deploy AI-powered workflows for tasks like document review, due diligence, contract analysis, and legal research.

  • Act as liaison between legal and technical teams, ensuring requirements are met and capabilities explained.

  • Monitor, test, and optimize AI workflows; develop reusable templates and best practices.

  • Provide training, documentation, and user support to drive adoption of AI tools.

  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards, data privacy laws, and firm policies.

  • Stay current on legal AI tools and recommend enhancements to maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 3+ years in legal tech, law firm, or AI workflow design; legal background highly desirable.

  • Experience as a prompt engineer or in product support/business analysis with exposure to low/no-code automation

  • Experience as a prompt engineer in professional services, consulting, or legal environments; or as a product support specialist/business analyst with exposure to low/no-code automation.

  • Certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, AI Builder) preferred; otherwise, strong knowledge of Gen AI (LLMs, RAG, agentic AI).

  • Familiarity with platforms like Harvey, Hebbia, or similar legal AI tools; ability to learn firm-specific systems.

  • Basic Python or scripting skills; API familiarity a plus for future projects.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to present complex data to non-technical audiences.

  • Consultative approach with ability to engage legal professionals and stakeholders.

  • Curious, self-starter, team player; proven critical thinking and decision-making under pressure.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; experience working with cross-functional teams.

  • Growth mindset to become a power user and suggest process/tool improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • JD (Juris Doctor), LL.M. (Master of Laws), or professional certifications such as CP (Certified Paralegal), APC (Advanced Paralegal Certification), or PP (Professional Paralegal), combined with demonstrated interest in legal tech.

  • Experience working in a law firm or legal department or a legal tech company, and working knowledge of legal terminology.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $150,000 and represents the firm's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of the posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidates experience and qualifications. This range is specific to our NYC office and may not be applicable to other locations.
