Northrop Grumman is currently seeking out a mission-driven Driver Heavy Vehicle to join our Aerospace Systems Transportation & Logistics Team at our Iuka MS.

location. As a Heavy Vehicle Driver, you will safely transport tooling, material, and hardware between approved on-site and off-site locations. This role is ideal for professional commercial drivers who take pride in safety, reliability, and high-quality performance while supporting critical DoD programs This position does require travel up to 75% of the time.

Position Summary Coordinates the loading or unloading of trucks and trailers. Accountable for all aspects of safe operations of vehicle and equipment used in transporting company and government owned assets. Organize loads to minimize delivery times and reduce waste.

Make minor mechanical adjustments as required and maintain the cleanliness of equipment. Basic Qualifications: Heavy Driver Level 2: High School Diploma and 2 years of heavy driving experience Valid Class A CDL Valid HazMat Endorsement Clean MVR (no violations in past 12 months). Must be less than 30 days old from day of request Meets all DOT pre-employment requirements (FMCSA Clearinghouse) Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S Government Secret clearance and a Special Program Access Must be able to pass a New Hire Physical prior to start. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and possession of a valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Material and Passenger Endorsements. Ability to read in-plant handling manual instructions, including special tie-down arrangements

Two years or more experience driving transportation vehicles with a GVWR of 26,001lbs.or more and its equivalent in on-the-job training as a forklift operator. Experience with basic computer software including Word, Outlook, Excel, and the ability to operate mobile devices (iPad, iPhone). Primary Level Salary Range: $22.02 - $36.73 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
