Job description

Ambassador Personnel is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join a fast-paced production team in Alma, GA.

Responsibilities will include:

Set up production line (Material, Ingredients, Fruit, etc.)

Set up line machines (Evo, Pro-Seal, Labeler, Printers, Tapers, etc.)

Properly adjust machine settings.

Inspect the line with precision.

Test the operation of machines periodically.

Fix minor issues that might occur during the shift.

Check the output to spot any mistakes or flaws that may cause downtime.

Input all information (Pack Dates, Best By Dates, Lot Numbers, etc.)

Verify information is correct.

Constantly checking weights.

Keep records of daily waste.

Keep records of daily rework for each product run.

Cleaning and maintaining the entire line and all machines on the line.

Machine calibrating.

Operate complex machinery safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Load production lines with raw ingredients and materials if needed.

Verify final counts on the product being packed.

Able to identify machine malfunctions.

Keep track of all production start and end times daily.

Keep track of all minor and major issues that occur daily.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of proven experience as a machine operator.
  • Working knowledge of diverse machinery, such as a Pro Seal machine
  • Understanding of production procedures.
  • Adherence to quality and safety regulations. (Constant use of personal protective equipment.)
  • Attention to detail.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
  • Physical stamina and strength.
  • Communicate with line employees in a respectful manner.
  • Follow all SOPs & GMPs.
  • Communicate with Management, Maintenance, Quality Control, and Shipping Department.
  • Dependable, punctual.
  • Willing to work on the production line if needed. Willing to work late hours when necessary.
